Day 7: Time Sequence Evolution July 1, 2009

The post for today is called Day 7. However it is not Day 7. So what is true? It is the seventh post but it is the ninth day so what reality should we connect, and does it really make a difference. So lets remember the story of how the chair was created. The sequence of events plant the seed, tree grows – root, trunk, branches, leaves, The tree gets cut down, the tree gets cut into boards, the boards make the chair. It sounds nice but my teacher HaRav clearly says that the assumption that the sequence of events evolved into a chair is totally incorrect. The Zohar, and science today corroborates the idea that if I say, imagine, and believe that tomorrow I will be walking on the beach my footsteps are already indented in the sand. They are waiting for me to come and put my physical foot into the imprint. So if I went to the beach the next day I would be stepping in my own footsteps. So, the chair did not evolve from sequence but was created by a thought or better said by a desire. The word Kabbalah means to receive. In order to receive anything one must first have a true desire – a desire to receive as the zohar puts it. The next question is were does the desire come from. We cannot desire anything that we have no experience of. Whatever we desire must be something that we had, experienced, or felt and now we want it back. The chair came about because someone wanted the chair a desire was fulfilled so the chair manifested.

Now lets get back to my trip – was it an accident, did it happen by coincidence, did it just work out and then I decided to go? Or did I first have the desire to go and then all the sequence of events evolved allowing me to put my feet in Whitestone NY to manifest my true desire. I mentioned that part of my holistic health care practice is weight management ( www.thefastandsimplediet.tsfl.com) I got involved with this area of health-care because I had gained quit a bit of weight . I wanted to loose the weight but seemed very difficult. I tried several plans but none worked. One day I noticed my friend Michael and that he had lost a lot of weight quickly. I asked him how and he directed me to this program. I tried it and guess what I lost an amazing 70 lbs in a period of five months. It was the fastest, simplest, safest diet program I ever did in my life. How did it happen. Well it must be Micheal’s fault since he directed me to the program. Today I am a health coach for the Medifast Corp and I help others with controlling their weight and help them with their diet. So I must be the cause for those that I help. Well I am not and neither was Michael. There has to exist a true and clear desire for things to happen. Once this is in place the creative force will work out the details to make it happen – we might call this coincidence and what follows is time, sequence, evolution, and manifestation.

The one minute reiki meditation: Just for today I will be clear, certain, and know what I want in my life. I will set my footprints on the beach and move through the sequential steps to realize my true desires. Just for today I will not be discouraged and keep my desire strong no matter what the obstacles.

  1. If I dream something up, but never take steps to get there myself, how could I expect them to happen? If I desire to make a chair, but never cut the tree or never go to Home Depot to buy the wood, how can I expect to make one?

I believe that you must have clear desires, but they must be paired with clear actions. Without the actions, there can be no coincidences or manifestation for God to help you along the process.

Hi your question is right on and it poses the real sruggle. I hope to continue on the subject on the next post. But breifly what I understand is that the dream the desire will generate its own way of manifesting. We need to be open and see allow for it to come. Taking steps 1,2, 3 tells the universe that you really want it. However how many times have your desires have been met by accident, by a chance meeting, by something that was not related to the 1,2,3 process

  2. The problem with asking “how many times have your desires been met without taking steps 1, 2, 3″ is that I can ask you the converse. How many times have bad things happened to you when you haven’t taken any steps towards them. To me, the likelihood of something good happening by chance is the same as something bad happening by chance.

On the other hand, the odds that something good will happen from taking the right steps forward are far greater than leaving it to chance.
